Installation of Windows 10 without Microsoft login

Installation of Windows 10 without Microsoft login

When installing Windows 10, there are times when it is necessary to set up the computer for a local account rather than a Microsoft account for personal use.

In general, when you install Windows 10, if you just scroll backwards, you will have to enter a Microsoft account, but I will introduce a simple way to avoid this and install with a local account.

The method itself is very simple.

1. Disconnect the wired LAN cable from the computer.

2. When the Wi-Fi selection window appears, do not connect and proceed to 'Skip for now'.

1) You can do both of the above at the same time. If you can't connect to the Internet, you can't log in with your Microsoft account, so all you have to do is create a situation where you can't use the Internet.

2) In the case of a PC that does not have Wi-Fi, if you unplug the LAN cable when installing Windows 10, a window appears where you can select a local account.

3) If the Wi-Fi connection window appears on the PC with Wi-Fi, click 'Skip for now' and proceed, you can also set up a local account.

4) As you proceed with the installation, a window to connect to the network appears. At this time, select No Internet and proceed.

5) On the next screen, select Continue with restricted installation and proceed. If you proceed in this state, you can create a local account without a Microsoft login.

6) Finally, set the PC name and password. If you do not want to set a password, you can set it without a password by clicking Next without entering anything.

If you need to install Windows with a local account, you can do it this way.

However, when the Microsoft account input window appears, you cannot set up a local account even if the Internet is blocked. In this case, you have to reinstall Windows from scratch. Therefore, it is important to disconnect the LAN cable in advance and not connect to the network.
