1. Notifications all off in your Windows 11 PC

1) Open Windows Settings and then select [Personalize]. (Shortcut key:  Win + i )




2) Click the Notification menu in the System tab.



3) Change On to Off in Notifications. 




2. How to manage notifications for specific apps


If you turn off all notifications in Windows 11 to avoid distractions, you may miss important reminders and emails. To ensure you always get notifications and messages from the apps that matter to you, Windows 11 also lets you manage notifications on a per-app basis.

1)  Go to Notification Settings like step 1-1 and 1-2.

2) Scroll down to the 'Notifications from apps and other senders' section. Here you can find a list of apps and senders that can send notifications. Toggle the appropriate switch next to these apps to enable or disable notifications.






3. A different method from No. 2


In addition to the above methods, you can also disable notifications for specific apps in the notification center.

1) Open the notification center by clicking the time and date icon in the lower right corner.




Alternatively, you can also open the Action Center in Windows 11 by pressing the shortcut [Windows Key + N].


2) Find the notification in the app you want to turn off notifications for. Click the three-dot menu icon and select 'Turn off all notifications for [AppName]'.


If you decide to enable notifications for specific apps, there are a few additional preferences you can set to further streamline your notification experience in Windows 11.

4. Enable or disable notification banners

1) Open the Settings app and go to Notification Settings. Click on the app to view additional notification settings from 'Notificationsfrom apps and other senders'. Now use the checkbox to specify whether the app should show a notification banner or not. You can also mute notification sounds from here.





4. Set Notification Priority


Even after filtering notifications, you may still miss important notifications. You can prioritize notifications by following the steps below so you don't miss any important notifications.

1) Open the notification settings and click the app to set priority.

2) Under 'Priority of notifications in the notification center', set your preferences by selecting from the Top, High and Medium options.
